2nd Annual Plenary of the OECD Global Forum on Development

This Annual Plenary will bring to a close the second year of activities of the OECD Global Forum on Development. Participants will reflect, in particular, on the results of the Informal Experts' Workshop on Ownership in Practice (27-28 September 2007) and the Policy Workshop on Scaling Up at Country Level (11 December 2007). Participants will also be asked to share their views on how ownership should be addressed at the Third High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (Accra, 2-4 September 2008).

As last year, the Plenary will be held back-to-back with the annual High-Level Meeting of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC).

Following the Plenary, the third year of the Global Forum will be devoted to discussing the most effective instruments of development finance, particularly instruments of public-private collaboration.

Start Date: 20 May 2008
